AA Driving School recruits the Ford Fiesta
1.4 Ford Fiesta will be introduced to the AA Driving School Fleet
For the first time, the 1.4 litre Ford Fiesta will be introduced to the AA Driving School Fleet alongside the mainstay Ford Focus 1.6. This is great news for the instructors who now have a choice between the Ford Fiesta and the Ford Focus. AA instructor Vicky Livermore said “many pupils go on to buy a Ford after driving one for 40-plus hours as a learner, as they are then familiar with its advantages and the layout of the controls. Comfort is the first word that comes to mind about working in a Ford, even after spending eight-plus hours in it every day. Of course reliability is also important and so is the high specification. I have been giving tuition in the Ford Focus for more than four years with no problems whatsoever.”
The Ford Fiesta was named Auto Express Car of the Year 2009, the new Ford Fiesta feels and looks a much improved car and you can bet it will be near or at the top of all the Car of the Year awards and competitions.

Inside it looks and feels the same. A nice combination of textures and materials and the upper centre console Ford is very proud of. The new all-electric power steering is perfectly weighted, precise and gives good feedback. It is light at low speeds and gets heavier the faster the car is driven. With excellent fuel economy, low CO2 emissions, cheap road tax and
Deliveries of the new Ford Fiesta vehicles to AA Driving School’s 1,800 franchised instructors will begin in February and cars will then be replaced at eight-month intervals.
