Eight ‘Red Dot’ award for Skoda
The Skoda Fabia has scored top marks for design and has picked up the ‘Red Dot’ Award. The new Skoda Fabia is the eighth Skoda model series to have been awarded the prize. The car has been on sale since November last year and the new design boasts a much sharper appearance, very sporty, modern and more distinctive.
The Fabia is also recognised for the impressive amount of space offered for a small car, there is plenty of room for five occupants and a boot which is the largest within the small car segment. It is the ideal car for modern yet practical urban mobility. Skoda have a reputation for offering above-average amount of space and the Fabia is no exception.
Depending on which specification chosen there are up to nine new ‘Simply Clever’ features available on the new Fabia plus it is the first Skoda to feature MirrorLink™ technology. ‘Simply Clever’ features include a rubbish bin for the side door together with storage nets on the inside edges of the front seats, a standard parking ticket holder on the inside of the A-pillar and a new multimedia device cradle in the centre console is the perfect place to store a mobile phone, smartphone or iPod.

The Fabia was recently named ‘Best Small Car’ at the Fleet News Awards, it stood out again due to being a versatile small car with all the benefits of space. The Fabia is also competitively priced with low co2 emissions and a five star EuroNCAP safety rating. There is a fantastic choice of engines and body styles it is an excellent all round car.
