The all new Toyota Aygo will go on sale 1st July priced from £8595. Initial customer saving offer of £600 makes the new Aygo available from £7,995
Three grades will be offered; the x, the x-play and the x-pression plus there are two special edition models the x-cite and the x-clusiv.
The fantastic city car offers customers a huge choice when it comes to making the car unique to you. Toyota is offering a wealth of features inside and out that can be specified in different colours and finishes. Customers will not face a long wait for their bespoke new Aygo to arrive, nor will they face huge extra cost. The customisation packs have been keenly priced and they are fitted by Toyota in the UK, to customer order, at a new hub set up at Toyota Manufacturing UK’s Burnaston factory in Derbyshire.
The second generation model will open up fantastic new possibilities for customers to personalise their car due to the extensive range of affordable and stylish customisation options both for the exterior and the cabin. More than ten vehicle elements can easily be replaced with alternative colours and executions, even after several years of ownership.
There is higher equipment specifications that include plenty of “big car” features, such as the new x-touch multimedia system with MirrorLink function for smart connection of mobile phones. The all new Aygo is also the first in its class to offer a rear-view camera and it can be specified with Smart Entry and push button start.
Five fun colour options include White Flash, Silver Splash, Electro Grey, Deep Blue Buzz and Red Pop. In addition, the x-cite will be offered only in Orange Twist and the x-clusiv in Bold Black.
The Aygo is a popular city car and this new refreshed look will be very welcome. It is an extremely economical and great for the environment plus the low Co2 emissions means there is no road tax to pay. There is also the choice of either three or five door body styles across the range. The Aygo is powered by an improved version of Toyota’s award-winning three-cylinder 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine and is offered with a choice of manual or new x-shift automated manual transmissions. The top line combined cycle performance figures are 74.3mpg and 88g/km CO2 emissions.
