Land Rover Prioritises Customer Care
The Land Rover Approved Used Promise assures a buyer that the vehicle “is in the best possible condition” as it passed a series of “rigorous checks”, the manufacturer says.
Furthermore, Land Rover claims that to maintain the highest standards of vehicle preparation and operating standards dealers are independently assessed every year.
Motorists can choose from a wide range of vehicles such as the Freelander 2, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Defender, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque.
The Approved Used Promise incorporates a range of benefits. The Approved Warranty element relates to a vehicle that has covered less than 100,000 miles (at point of sale).
It covers certain mechanical and electrical components and there is no limit to the number of claims a driver can pursue. The financial limit is what the vehicle sold for.
The Warranty covers models under seven years old for 12 months – extendible to 24 months for a charge - and older examples are covered for six months, extendible to 12.
Comprehensive Multi-Point Inspection
The Comprehensive Multi-Point Inspection checks the vehicle's condition. It relates to elements including – but not limited to - the paint, mechanical components and safety features. Faults are rectified using manufacturer parts before it is valeted and marketed.
Independent History and Mileage Check
The Independent History and Mileage Check confirms that the vehicle's mileage is correct, that there is no outstanding finance and that it has not been stolen/written-off.
MOT Test Warranty
The MOT Test Warranty covers the cost of repair, replacement and/or adjustment to certain parts at the next MOT. The financial limit is £750 and there is a £50 excess.
Conditional Vehicle Exchange
The Land Rover 30 day/1,000 mile Conditional Vehicle Exchange ensures that – if the vehicle has a “demonstrable fault that cannot be resolved” to the owner's satisfaction - it is replaced free of charge with a comparable example. The alternative is a refund. Since collection, the car must not have been fitted with accessories that detract from its value.
Land Rover UK and Europe Emergency Assistance provides help following a breakdown, accident or minor mishap such as a puncture. It operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and includes home start, car hire, re-delivery of the vehicle and accommodation.
