Citroen's Picasso now more fuel efficient

Citroen have improved the efficiency of the C4 Picasso and the Grand C4 Picasso

Citroen have improved the efficiency of the Citroen C4 Picasso and the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso due to the re-homologation of the 1.6 and 2.0 Hdi diesel engines in both the models. The improved co2 emissions result in a one point reduction in BIK tax rates for all versions and lower first year VED for the 1.6 Hdi 110hp manual models from £125 to only £110.

The Citroen C4 Picasso is practical and spacious with plenty of head and leg room, it also boasts a very large boot approximately 500 litres. The seven seat Citroen Grand Picasso has a middle row of three seats of equal width, when all seats are stowed the boot has a massive area of 576 litres. The Citroen Grand Picasso scored a massive 35 points out of 37 for adult occupant protection in the EuroNCAP’s tests.

Both models have been designed to purely move people, they are smooth and powerful and good to drive. The interior of the Citroen C4 Picasso is simple stylish and classy. The upper dash is made from good quality soft touch plastics with tasteful chrome highlights. The huge panoramic windscreen doubles the amount of sky you can see.

Already recognised as a ‘green’ leader in its segment, Citroën’s diesel powered Grand C4 Picasso was named ‘Green MPV of the Year’ at last year’s inaugural What Car? Green Awards.
