Drivers to drop out of Q1 were Jaime Alguersuari, Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen, Timo Glock, Jerome D’Ambrosio, Daniel Ricciardo and Vitantonio Liuzzi.Sebastian Vettel managed to set the fastest time in Q2, followed by Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. Paul Di Resta only just missed out on Q3, after Bruno Senna posted a faster time right at the end of Q2. drivers to drop out Q2 were Paul Di Resta, Adrian Sutil, Rubens Barrichello, Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Perez, Sebastian Buemi and Kamui Kobayashi. Q3 started with Jenson Button posting the fastest time, only for Sebastian Vettel to beat it a minute after. Lewis Hamilton could only manage second fastest. Sebastian Vettel managed to hold on to the top spot and claim his 10th pole of the season. Lewis Hamilton managed to take second followed by Jenson Button in third, Fernando Alonso in Fourth, Mark Webber in fifth, Felipe Massa sixth, Vitaly Petrov seventh, Michael Schumacher eighth, Nico Rosberg in ninth and Bruno Senna in tenth.
