The Ferrari 458 Italia has won a further coveted award taking the Car of the Year title in The Daily Telegraphs ‘Motoring’ supplement. In declaring the Ferrari 458 Italia the winner in the “Money No Object” category Paul Hudson, Head of Motoring at The Daily Telegraph, said “the Ferrari 458 Italia wins because of the pure driving pleasure it delivers to drivers of all abilities. It flatters your driving while involving you fully in the experience. Despite its towering performance there are many faster cars, but the Ferrari 458’s astounding levels of tactility and refinement clinch it. It has almost telepathic steering, superbly linear major controls, looks and sounds to die for. Hell, it’s even comfortable."
The Ferrari 458 Italia been awarded “Supercar of the Year” by GQ magazine. The magazine described the new Ferrari 458 Italia as “a motor that elicits the most primal response from all who see it while moving engineering on to a whole new level” with the engine in particular being described as a “masterpiece”. The Ferrari 458 Italia has also been awarded ‘Car of the Year’ by BBC Top Gear Magazine.
The Ferrari 458 Italia can reach 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. It will be on sale in June 2011 and will be priced at approximately £155,000.
