Exclusive Fiat Event Takes Place In London
Motoring.co.uk were exclusively invited to the launch event for the latest addition to the Fiat line up, the 500X.
At the Copper Box Arena at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, invited guests were ushered from the station into classic Routemaster buses as Fiat promised the evening would all be about The Power of X.
As people queued up outside there were plenty of Fiat 500X models on display and with drinks in hand as they waited for the show to start, guests could get up close with the new addition and see how Fiat’s latest offering infuses 500 heritage with unique styling.
After announcing his first ever 51 date UK live tour, the magician Dynamo took to the stage as the highlight of the event as he performed a new illusion, ‘The Power of X’. Generating a 3-dimensional blueprint of the Fiat 500X to the packed audience, he then brought it to life with the new model on stage.
‘The Power of X Tour’ which starts in the UK capital on February 13th, will also visit Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. Fiat dealers will also be hosting special preview weekends, with special show cars and an innovative virtual reality test drive experience with Dynamo.
The car was launched to the motoring media in November receiving good reviews from journalists. The model, ideal for racing around the city or putting it through its paces on rugged terrain sits between the 500 and 500L and Fiat were inundated with customer enquiries before the public had seen it in showrooms.
The crossover is available with a choice of diesel and petrol engines, three types of transmission and traction variants.
The 500X Opening Edition City Look is now available to buy priced at £17,595 and the 500X Off Road is £25,845. Hurry though, as only 500 are available of each to customers in the UK.
The Fiat 500X will be on UK roads from April 17th, priced from £14,595.
