The first Range Rover Evoque has rolled off the production line at Jaguar Land Rovers Halewood plant on Merseyside. This first Evoque is a white five door model in Dynamic trim that will be donated to the Heritage Motor Centre Museum in Gaydon as do all new Jaguar Land Rover products.Order books are already open for the Range Rover Evoque and models are expected in showrooms this September. Prices will start from £27,955 for an eD4 Pure five door, six speed manual 2WD model. The 4WD equivalent is priced at £28,705. There is a choice of three engines, two body styles, three design themes and a wide range of options and accessories. Land Rover predicts the average Range Rover Evoque buyer will be between 30 and 40 years of age and around half of all Evoque buyers will be female. Land Rover also expects a rough 50/50 split between sales of the three-door and five-door model, although globally the five-door will account for around two thirds of sales.
