Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 Only £169 Per Month

Ford B-MAX Zetec Low Cost Finance

Good news for families - the Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 is available via a low cost Personal Contract Hire Plan. Terms include the £3,887 advance rental payment which is followed by thirty-five monthly instalments of £169. This totals £9,802 – after which this compact people carrier must be returned. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it has been maintained within its manufacturer's guidelines and that wear and tear is within fair limits. Furthermore, there will be a charge for exceeding the 9,000 mile annual allowance. This workhorse is also available via a Personal Contract Purchase Plan. Payments include the £3,893.98 deposit that complements the first monthly payment of £179 (including £10 finance facility fee). This is followed by twenty-three instalments of £169. At the end of the contract there are three options. One, pay the £7,258 final payment to own the Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 outright. This totals £15,227.98 including £566.01 interest (4.9% APR representative) and the £10 purchase fee. Option two is to return it. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it is in fair condition and within its 9,000 mile per-year allowance. Option three is to part exchange via a new Personal Contract Purchase Plan. Pleasingly, if the Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 is worth more than its final payment - perhaps thanks to low mileage - the difference contributes towards the newer car's deposit. Both these low cost finance offers are available until June 30th 2013.

Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 Review

Good news for families - the Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4's rear doors slide forwards and backwards rather than opening outwards. Combined with the traditional front doors these create large one and a half meter apertures that are particularly helpful in tight parking bays when kids have to be shoehorned into their seatbelts. This five-seater people carrier also has a 318-litre boot and its cargo capacity can be increased to 1,386-litres by folding the rear seats flat. These figures are impressive considering the vehicle's pint-sized proportions. Furthermore, the B-MAX Zetec 1.4 is easy to drive thanks to its precise steering and sure-footed chassis. These characteristics complement the 90PS petrol engine that propels families to 62mph in 13.8 seconds. Not fast, but it feels more responsive than this figure suggests. The B-MAX Zetec 1.4 also averages 47.1mpg which is fair for a low-end petrol trim. This workhorse – which feels tough enough to withstand years of family motoring - has a respectable specification too (for the price). This includes: air-con, electric mirrors, MP3 playback and the electronic stability program that contributed to its maximum “five-star” Euro NCAP safety rating. And that too is good news for families.
