The Ford Focus was the UK car sales leader in January, pushing the Ford Fiesta into 2nd place for the first time since May 2010. Ford Focus sales were 7,582 up from 6,953 in January 2010 and it also increased its share of car sales from 4.8 per cent to 5.9 per cent. There were similar increases in sales and share for the new Ford C-MAX range, the Ford S-MAX and the Ford Galaxy.
The all new Ford Focus range will go on sale from March 2011. Prices start at £15,995 which includes the new 2011 VAT increase. There is an impressive new equipment list of high technology features on all new Ford Focus models. Standard equipment across the range includes Ford’s Torque Vectoring Control; this electronic system balances the distribution of engine torque between the driven front wheels to optimise grip and stability irrespective of driving conditions or road surfaces.
To complement the new sporty styling, the all-new Ford Focus is offered in two new eye catching colours, Candy Red and Candy Yellow.
