Honda will unveil a new cleaner higher quality Honda Insight Hybrid at the Frankfurt Motor Show
Honda will unveil a new cleaner higher quality Honda Insight Hybrid at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The new Honda Insight Hybrid will have lower CO2 emissions of just 96g/km which has been achieved through enhanced aerodynamics and powertrain efficiency. Reduced engine friction, changes to the CVT transmission and improved air conditioning all contribute to lower fuel consumption. All these changes ensure the Honda Insight still qualifies for exemption from the London Congestion Charge and falls into the lowest VED band resulting in no annual road tax to pay. The new figures also ensure that the Honda Insight remains in one of the lowest groups for Benefit in Kind taxation. The new Honda Insight Hybrid boasts a refreshed exterior design including a new front grille plus a slimmer spoiler at the rear and a modified tailgate garnish. Adjustments have been made to the engine and suspension for an overall improvement to stability and ride comfort.
