At the front the distinctive chrome-framed hexagonal grille is connected to the headlamp clusters creating a powerful impression.
Replacing the ix35
The Hyundai Tucson will replace the ix35 in the coming months, the original Tucson name was dropped in favour of ix35 in the UK when the current car went on sale in 2009. But it retained the Tucson name in certain markets and Hyundai says the reintroduction of the name underlines the significance of the new car.
