Hyundai ix35 Wins Best Crossover Title

Hyundai ix35 Praised By BusinessCar Readers

The Hyundai ix35 has won the BusinessCar Awards “Best Crossover” title.

The honour came via business-focused users – rather than a panel of judges - who favoured it over a wide range of competitors.

Hyundai claims that low running costs contributed to its success as the “impressive residuals”, durability and 5-year warranty help keep “finance-focused fleet managers happy”. It also argues that tax efficiencies make it “affordable under company car tax rules”.

BusinessCar Editor, Paul Barker, says the “ix35 illustrates the great leaps Hyundai has made in terms of product appeal, quality, value and design and shows that the brand is now a mainstream choice”.

He adds: “These awards are selected by the readers of BusinessCar, and they obviously appreciate the talents of a company that is on the up and can match the more established business car players for efficiency, satisfaction and operating costs.”

BusinessCar voters praised the ix35's generous equipment specification, power trains and refinement and considered the choice of front or 4-wheel drive “an important differentiator”.

Hyundai Motor UK Fleet Director, Martin Wilson, says: "The ix35 has been a multiple award-winning star car for us and has proved to be a vital part of our modern, capable, range that has revolutionised our fleet customer perception in the UK”.

"This latest award is all the more valuable to us as it comes direct from people who know which cars can cope with being pushed to their limits, and yet still be attractive financially to companies and the end user."

I couldn't agree more but I'm lucky I got one of the last unregistered black premium panaroma IX35's the country which I can't wait to receive in the next couple of days.

Shame it's being discontinued then!!
