Jaguar Approved Used Event, Deals Available on Everything from the XE to the XKR
Big savings to be made on Approved-Used Jaguars from April 14th-25th
From the 14th to the 25th of this month, Jaguar are hosting their Approved-Used event, offering a huge range of their pre-loved cars with a 2 year Jaguar-Approved warranty, MOT Test warranty, 2 years of UK & european roadside assistance and also a free 165 multi-point inspection on every single one of the cars on sale. Here’s a run-down of what’s included in the sale...
The XE was only introduced to the UK market toward the tail-end of 2015, it’s the newest addition to the Jaguar range and offers a competitive alternative to the usual ‘junior executive saloons’ - namely the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C Class and Audi A4. The XE is available in petrol and diesel models, with the latter proving most popular to company buyers. The 2.0 ‘Ingenium’ diesel engines will return a whole 69mpg combined, but if you spend a lot of time on the motorways you can expect this to go up to 76mpg.
There are currently almost 500 Approved Used XE Saloon models available in the sale starting from sa low as £22,995 - which is already a £5,000 saving over an entry level brand new model.
XF & Sportbrake
Next up in the sale is the Jaguar XF, available in both Saloon and Sportbrake variants. The XF is a slightly larger alternative to the XE, with a longer wheelbase, more legroom in the front and rear and also a bigger boot. The XF rivals the likes of the BMW 5 series, Mercedes E Class and the Audi A6 in terms of size and target-market.
There’s a lot more to offer in the Approved Used event if you’re looking for an XF, with models starting from as low as £11,981 and over 1,250 cars on sale. This includes the previous and the current model of the XF - which was only released at the end of 2015.
The last of the saloon models is the biggest, the XJ. This is a properly premium vehicle with a substantial road presence, cavernous boot and acres of legroom. The XJ was built for senior executives to be shipped around in supreme comfort and luxury, so whichever spec you go for you’ll be welcomed by an exquisite interior and the very best in-car technology.
Prices at the Approved Used Event start from £21,999 for the Short Wheelbase version, and £24,282 for the Long Wheelbase variant, but this is an exclusive vehicle and there are only 253 XJs up for grabs in the sale, so if you’re interested, get your skates on!
In 2014 we were finally blessed with the heavily anticipated rebirth of the world famous Jaguar E-type, in the form of the stunning F Type. The F Type Coupe enters the market with brand new prices coming in at £53,565 for an entry level 3.0litre V6 Supercharged model, or you can save 20% by buying a year-old model in the approved used sale with prices starting at £43,844, and that’s for one with a high spec too and the optional paintwork...
Like the look of the F-Type Coupe but fancy something a bit more… roof-less? Take a look at, arguably, one of the best looking convertibles on the market right now. Some will say that the F-Type is the pinnacle of British motoring. A sleek, rear wheel drive sports car with a powerful engine at the front, perfect for cruising the British B-roads with the wind in your hair on a summer's day. Tempting prospect, isn’t it? Make it a reality this summer, F-Type convertibles start from £57,260 brand new, but used models in the sale start at just £40,183 - and that’s on an example with just 8,700 miles on.
There are only 98 convertible F-Types available in the sale though, and these are going to become increasingly in-demand as the summer approaches, so get involved!
And lastly, the XK. Jaguar no longer produce the XK as the F-Type now fills that share of the marketplace, but the XK boasts a classic exterior which is slightly more conservative and mature than the new F-Type and will suit the tastes of some more than others. You can also pick the XK up for an absolute steal compared to the newer, more modern F-Type.
Prices start at just £26,995 for an XK in the Approved Used event - and for this you can get a special edition model with the famous 5.0 litre V8 engine, taking you from 0-60mph in just over 5 seconds. The XK will turn into a real classic and some models are bound to appreciate as time goes on - assuming you can resist putting a load of miles on, which we doubt.
