Jaguar Models Overview
Explore the saloon and SUV models on offer from Jaguar
2017 proved to be a massive year for Jaguar Land Rover, in fact it was their best year on record. 621,109 vehicles were sold globally which was a 6 percent increase on 2016. Things are looking up and it’s easy to see why. Here’s what they’ve got on offer…
For a good while before the arrival of the XE, Jaguar had essentially left the ‘junior saloon’ segment untouched, for the BMW 3 series and Mercedes C-Class to dominate. Since April 2015 the XE has lined itself up against the big boys and in 2016, it’s first full year of production, over 24,461 units were sold across Europe. The powerful and playful diesel engines appealed to the company buyers who were also attracted by a cleverly constructed trim lineup. Every model of the XE has leather interior, adjustable driving dynamics, cruise control and so on, meaning company buyers weren’t having to tick too many boxes - keeping their Benefit In Kind down.
Right now you can get a Jaguar XE from just £28,295, which is cheaper than both the BMW and Mercedes.
The XF positions itself in the tier above the XE in terms of size, price and luxury. Rivalling the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series, this ‘executive saloon’ is a force to be reckoned with. Company buyers typically opt for the 2.0litre diesel model, which is the most efficient but also the most affordable model. You can expect around 70mpg from that engine, but it’s still quite swift with a 0-60mph of just 8.2 seconds. Perfect at making steady and sustainable progress for motorway drivers. The more adventurous buyers will look to the top of the trim levels, at the 3.0litre V6 Supercharged ‘S’ model, which does the 0-60mph run in just 5.1 seconds.
Prices start from £32,490 for a brand new Jaguar XF.
Here’s the new kid on the block. The E-Pace has only been on sale for a matter of months but it is already sending shockwaves through the small-SUV market. It rivals the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes GLA and Range Rover Evoque, for comparison, but offers a significantly more dynamic and engaging drive than all of the above thanks to the powerful engines available and also an incredible chassis. There are 3 diesel engines to choose from, (150 horsepower, 180 horsepower and one with 240 horsepower) but the stars of the show are the two more potent petrols, which churn out 250bhp and 300bhp. Plenty of choice then and something to suit everyone. The E-Pace is also being credited as having the best interior of any Jaguar in the lineup, except for the XJ limousine of course...
Prices of the brand new E-Pace start from just £28,500.
The F-Pace has been a triumph for Jaguar like no other model they have ever produced before. It was their first ever stab at producing an SUV when it was released in 2016 and it has gone on to achieve excellent things. Upon launch it quickly became the fastest selling car in Jaguars history and its success, particularly in the United States has been unprecedented. Buyers love the sophisticated interior and sleek, but not over the top, exterior and once again, the long list of powerful and frugal engines.
Prices for the new F-Pace start from just £34,730.
