Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 For Sale

Love the Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 like the tax man loves his calculator?

Love the Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 like the tax man loves his calculator? If so, check-out Barons' Auction at the Sandown Park Exhibition Complex on December 18th 2012. Why? Because here – on this day of the financial year - you could buy a 1976 3.4-litre example. This saloon is finished with Sable paintwork, has tan velour seats, and plenty of chrome. Furthermore, it has only covered 43,000 miles including 1,000 during the current owner's seven year love affair. During this time, it has been stored in a “Carcoon” to preserve its condition. This Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 comes complete with the original sales invoice, service book, handbook, and tool kit – plus numerous MOT certificates and invoices. It must, as such, be worth every penny of its £5,000 - £7,000 estimate. Wonder if that is tax deductible.

But this Jaguar XJ6 S2 will not be the only lot to thrill the tax man. A 1972 Triumph Stag Mk1 3.0-litre V8, for starters, will also make its presence felt. This has covered 58,000 miles, has white paint, and is in original condition. What a tempting prospect for £11,500 to £13,500. Highlights also include the: 1977 Jaguar XJC 4.2 Coupé (£6,000 to £8,000), the 1971 MG BGT (£4,250 to £5,750), the 1989 BMW M3 Convertible (£24,000 to £27,000), the 1969 BMC/Wood & Picket Mini Cooper S (£27,500 to £35,000), and the 1963 Pontiac (GM) Le Mans Convertible (£9,500 to £11,500). Tough choice... but not even the tax man could resist the Jaguar XJ6 Series 2. He might even sell his beloved Casio calculator to pay for it.
