Kia Cee’d is ‘Small Family Car of the Year’

The Kia Cee’d 1.6 GS has been named Small Family Car of the Year in the What Car?

The Kia Cee’d 1.6 GS has been named Small Family Car of the Year in the What Car? Magazine’s Used Car Awards.

Today’s Kia Cee’d is a bolder proposition visually thanks to a facelifted front end featuring Kia’s wide chrome-ringed grille and sharp creases running down the bonnet to the angular light clusters. The tail end has LED lights and a subtle tweaked bumper design. The car still plays it safe in terms of its overall look but the extra character will not go amiss in marking it out from the crowd. The unbeatable reliability and great level of equipment were major factors contributing to the Kia c’eed winning the award which has unseated the Ford Focus from the title.

The Kia Cee’d 1.6 GS was launched with a four cylinder 1599cc petrol engine producing 124 bhp and returning fuel economy in excess of 44 mpg. It received a 5 star EURO NCAP safety rating. Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd has stated that if you buy an Approved Used Kia cee’d from one of the Kia dealers your warranty will be topped back up to seven full years. And for a used buyer it doesn’t get much better than that.
