The Kia Picanto has been judged the UK's 'most reliable new car' according to Which? Magazine. The magazine's annual reliability survey showed the Kia Picanto achieving a 98.1% score beating off established rivals from Japanese and European brands.
Peter Vicary-Smith, Chief Executive of Which? said "you don't expect a new car to go wrong but our rigorous research shows there's a big difference between the best and worst. Some small cars, particularly Korean and Japanese superminis, run like clockwork. Whereas some bigger cars, which you might expect to be more robust, aren't all they're cracked up to be."
Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors UK Ltd said "we at Kia know that the Kia Picanto is a great car and this feedback shows how dependable it is. That is why since the start of this year all of our vehicles also come with a manufacturer-backed seven year warranty, the best in the business. The Kia Picanto has been our best-seller since it was introduced and for it to receive this praise at this stage of its life is confirmation of our efforts to deliver high quality products to our customers at a fair price, something we shall continue to do in the future."
The Kia Picanto range starts with the 1.0 “1” version priced at £7,290 rising to £9295 for the Kia Picanto 2 Auto model. There are also the Kia Picanto Domino special edition versions in exclusive colour schemes and equipment lists with prices starting at £7795.
