The latest Volkswagen Polo is solid, stylish, excellently engineered and looking a lot like a little Volkswagen Golf. The Volkswagen Polo was awarded the ‘World Car of the Year 2010’ at the New York International Auto Show. The award was based on merit, value, safety, environmental impact, significance and emotional appeal.
The new Volkswagen Polo is slightly wider and longer and these new dimensions provide greater passenger and luggage space, there is more leg, head and shoulder room and approximately 280 litres of luggage space which is increased to 952 litres with the rear seats folded.
All Volkswagen Polo models come with four airbags, ABS and, for the first time, ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme) and Isofix child-seat mounting points as standard. There are optional extras such as satellite navigation, DAB digital radio and electronic climate control. There is also an easily accessed connection point for an MP3 player.
Supermini buyers seeking some extra quality, class and prestige will continue to find the Volkswagen Polo happy to oblige.
