New Citroen C4 Picasso named ‘Irish Car of the Year 2014’

Grand C4 Picasso to be launched January 2014

The new Citroen C4 Picasso has been named ‘Continental Irish Car of the Year 2014’ by the Irish Motoring Writers Association (IMWA). The latest generation C4 Picasso also picked up the Irish Compact Family Car of the Year award at the annual awards in Dublin.

Votes are awarded on the basis of key criteria including safety, equipment level, fuel economy, comfort, practicality, ride and road holding. The Picasso beat off competition from the VW Golf and the Mazda6.

Linda Jackson, Managing Director  Citroën UK & Ireland, said “the New C4 Picasso is an important addition to the Citroën range both in Ireland and the UK, so winning two accolades from the Irish Motoring Writers Association is especially pleasing. The overall title of Continental Irish Car of the Year, in particular, represents a compelling independent endorsement for our newest MPV.
