‘MPV of the Year’
The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has picked up another award being named ‘Best Seven-seat People Carrier’ at the Fleet News Awards in London. The new Citroën Grand C4 Picasso has already been named ‘MPV of the Year’ in the UK Car of the Year Awards (UKCOTY), BBC TopGear magazine ‘Family Car of the Year’ and What Car? Magazine ‘MPV of the Year’.

Our fleet and business customers tell us that New Grand C4 Picasso stands out in the seven-seat MPV sector with its innovative design, enhanced comfort, reduced weight, lower emissions and low cost of ownership, and we’re delighted that the Fleet News Awards judges feel the same way.”
The judging panel were particularly impressed by New Grand C4 Picasso’s reduced mass, which has significantly reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by an average 30g/km compared to its predecessor. Weighing up to 110kg less than the previous generation model, New Grand C4 Picasso’s enhanced aerodynamics and optimised engine range help to deliver CO2 emissions from just 98g/km with a class-leading combined cycle fuel economy of up to 74.3mpg. The seven seater is powered by a BlueHDi 150 engine, which complies with the Euro 6 standard as a result of its innovative Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, the only technology able to sharply reduce NOx emissions (by 90%), whilst also cutting CO2 emissions. Plus it is fitted with the latest-generation 6-speed gearbox to optimise performance and fuel consumption.
The exterior of the Grand Picasso has a very high tech appearance with LED daytime running lights and just below the LED’s sits very sleek headlights, the rear LED lights feature a 3D effect with an innovative, deep-set design offering a refined take on futuristic styling cues. The rear styling is enhanced by a wraparound tailgate which opens to reveal a broad and easy-to-access load area. All versions are fitted with stylish alloy wheels ranging from 16 to 18” to complete the contemporary exterior look.
The interior is just as stylish featuring satin chrome and gloss inserts and if you opt for Lounge pack then you will be spoilt with Citroen’s new front massaging seats and a ‘Relax’ mode passenger seat. The uncluttered dashboard features two full-digital displays, a 7” touchpad and a 12” panoramic HD screen.
