New Citroen SimplyDrive Finance Offers
How SimplyDrive works in the UK
Citroen SimplyDrive is a Personal Contract Plan that enables you to make fixed, monthly, payments that cover most motoring costs. The instalments incorporate the car plus: comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance, Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax), a warranty and servicing. Finance terms can be tweaked to match your requirements.
On this basis, the manufacturer's website incorporates a finance calculator. Start by specifying the model of interest such as Citroen C1 Feel 1.0-litre VTi 68hp 3-door. Then confirm your: age bracket, postcode, how many miles you expect to cover per-annum, the size of any deposit and whether you have a vehicle to trade-in.
The calculator then reveals suggested terms. You might then, for example, minimise the monthly payment by increasing the deposit or cutting the mileage limit from 25,000 to 20,000. Citroen – based on predicted mileage, etc. – then calculates the optional final payment based on much the car will be worth at the end of the term.
At the end of the term make the optional final payment to own the vehicle. Alternatively, return it and walk away in which case there is no further charge - assuming it is within mileage and in fair condition. The third option is to trade in, then use any equity above the optional purchase cost towards the replacement's deposit.
