The Fiat Punto represents outstanding value for money and is the perfect city car. It is currently available from just £119 per month and further savings include no road tax to pay and less to pay at the fuel pumps as it is capable of returning a fantastic 80.7mpg. The car will appeal to the young as well as the older generation and is available with either three or five doors.
The engine line up is very impressive and includes an 85hp version of the MultiJet diesel engine and the acclaimed Engine of the Year 85hp TwinAir. The full list comprises of the 1.2 8-valve petrol (69hp), 1.4 8-valve petrol (77hp), 1.4 16-valve MultiAir petrol (105hp and 135hp), TwinAir 0.9-litre petrol (85hp) and the 1.3 16-valve MultiJet diesel (75hp and 85hp). There are more choices as there are five trim levels offered; Pop. Easy, Lounge and the new GBT and TwinAir. The pop version is ‘popular’ as it is extremely stylish but very affordable. The interior of the Pop has stylish denim inserts on the seats and looks very trendy. The Easy version features a combination of style and technology, it boasts body-coloured door handles and mirrors, remote control door locking, a rear bench that splits 60/40, heated mirrors, plus manual air-conditioning. Last year the Fiat Punto underwent some external styling changes which included fully colour coded front and rear bumpers which give the car a more sophisticated look and three new exterior colours were introduced; Brit Pop Blue, Tango Red and Underground Grey.
The GBT Model Punto
The GBT Punto model was built to celebrate Fiat’s support for British cycling, it is based on the Easy version but has a sportier look thanks to sport wheels, a lowered sports suspension, darkened privacy glass, a body coloured rear spoiler and side skirts. The new TwinAir model is also based on the Easy version and also boasts a sporty look with 15 inch multi spoke diamond finish wheels, gloss black mirror covers and door pillars, unique seats and darkened privacy glass which completes the look.
