New Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 Finance Deal

Ford B-MAX Zetec Finance Terms

The Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 is better value than a half price mobile contract. So - much like a friendly phone call – the prospect of owning this compact people carrier sounds pretty good. Why? Because it can be bought outright for only £15,600 or via a Personal Contract Plan with Ford Options. Terms for the latter include the £4,132.84 deposit which is followed by one payment of £179 (including the £10 Finance Facility Fee) and twenty-three instalments of £169. At the end of the contract there are three options. One, pay the £7,000 Optional Final Payment to own the vehicle outright. This totals £15,208.84 including £853.84 interest and the £10 Purchase Fee. Option two is to return it and walk away. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it is in reasonable condition and has not exceeded the 9,000 mile annual allowance. Excesses are charged at 7.2 pence per-mile. Option three is to purchase - as per option one - then part exchange via a further Personal Contract Plan. If the B-MAX is worth more than its Final Payment - perhaps because it has low mileage or a boot full of mobile phones - the difference contributes towards the newer car's deposit. New Ford B-MAZ Zetec 1.4 Review

Believe it or not, the first thing to review is the doors. Why? Because the Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4's rear doors slide forwards and backwards rather than opening outwards. Combined with the traditional front doors these van-style openings create vast one and a half meter apertures. These make accessing the cabin in tight spaces easier than operating an old-style Nokia. This compact multi-purpose vehicle also has five seats, plenty of headroom, a class-competitive 318-litre boot, and a maximum cargo capacity of 1,386-litres once its rear seats are folding flat. Not bad considering it is only slightly longer than some superminis. Furthermore, the B-MAX is easy to drive thanks to its light controls, pint-sized proportions, composed chassis, and the 90PS petrol engine that propels phone lovers to 62mph in 13.8 seconds. Not fast, but it compensates by averaging a pleasing 47.1mpg. Standard equipment includes: the electronic stability programme that prevents the rear tyres losing traction on corners, air-conditioning for comfort, four electric windows for convenience, and Bluetooth for connecting mobiles. So, for the price, the all-new B-MAX is better equipped than a smart phone. That reminds me - must make a phone call.
