New Ford C-MAX voted ‘New Company Car of the Year 2011’
The new Ford C-MAX and the Grand C-MAX were voted ‘New Company Car of the Year 2011’ as well as ‘Best People Carrier’ at the Fleet News Awards
The new Ford C-MAX and the Grand C-MAX were voted ‘New Company Car of the Year 2011’ as well as ‘Best People Carrier’ at the Fleet News Awards. The cars were judged on a range of criteria including operating costs; depreciation, fuel, servicing, maintenance and repair. The Fleet News panel of judges said “the new Ford C-Max and Grand C-Max stand out thanks to clever and flexible seating and sliding rear passenger doors in a highly competitive sector with a range of new entrants."
The Ford C-Max and Ford Grand C-Max boast an all-new four-cylinder 1.6-litre 150PS Ford EcoBoost engine which comes with a new six-speed manual gearbox. This gearbox also accompanies the 1.6 TDCi and 2.0 TDCi powertrains, which are jointly projected to account for around 50 per cent of sales. With on the road prices from £17,195 for the Ford C-MAX and £19,195 for the Ford Grand
C-MAX, all boast the maximum five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and have Thatcham Category 1 alarm, DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity as standard.
