The New Generation Hyundai i30 has won a place on the shortlist for the ‘Car of the Year 2013’. It is the first Hyundai model to make the final round of voting. Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe said “the New Generation i30 was designed, developed and is made in Europe, for Europeans, so it’s a great honour for such a respected group of experts to recognise its relevance to Europe by shortlisting it for Car of the Year 2013. Its dynamic design and great value package are changing the way European consumers think about Hyundai, being drawn to i30 on an emotional level. This is borne out not only by independent research but also by sustained sales success in the highly-competitive C-segment.”
The Hyundai i30 really is a success story it offers high quality, low emissions plus great value and it has recently just surpassed one million sales worldwide. It has also been voted the UK’s best value hatchback in the annual Practical Caravan, The Camping & Caravanning Club & What Car? Towcar Awards. The car really does offer all round practicality, efficiency plus style. Four main trim levels including Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav are offered and there is also the choice of either petrol or diesel engines which include the latest 1.6 litre diesel that emits less than 100g/km Co2. The New Generation Hyundai i30 has been awarded the maximum five star rating by Euro NCAP which means it is one of the safest vehicles in the C-segment and Hyundai also offer the reassurance of their industry-leading 5 Year Triple Care package, which gives customers a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, five years of roadside assistance and five years of vehicle health checks. The New Generation i30 family was recently expanded, with the introduction of a sporty looking new three-door version. The Hyundai i30 is competitively priced; monthly payments are currently only £179 per month. Standard features on the new Hyundai i30 include voice-activated Bluetooth®, LED daytime running lights, multi-function steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and one-touch indicators.
