New Generation Hyundai i30 Tourer Not Destroyed
New Generation Hyundai i30 Tourer Survives Kids
Shock: a Hyundai i30 Tourer has not been wrecked by kids. That is surprising. Why? Because its manufacturer recently invited fifteen, four to five year old, pupils from Holmer Green First School in Buckinghamshire to spend six hours “quality testing” the vehicle. What better way to replicate the rigours of family motoring? As such the children – who seemed upset to be missing maths – bounced on the seats, turned the boot into a sandpit, stamped on dashboard, spilt liquid in the cabin, filled it with bubbles, and covered the paint with stickers/filth. And no. This was not a reinforced vehicle from a secret laboratory – it was a standard production model from a factory in the Czech Republic. The manufacturer, however, protected the kids by surrounding the car with soft mats and ensuring their fingers could not be caught in doors/windows. This small family car – once it had stopped weeping from the hours of abuse – was then cleaned inside and out. Remarkably, it emerged more or less intact which is testament to the manufacturer's robust build quality. No wonder this car is backed by a five year warranty.
Product Planning Manager Discusses New Hyundai i30 Tourer
Mark Baxter, Hyundai UK’s Product Planning Manager, said: “At Hyundai we believe in new thinking which is why we like to take a different approach when it comes to quality testing. Kids are notoriously hard on cars and these days families need transport that will withstand sticky fingers, accidental spillages and energetic personalities.” Mr Baxter added: “We wanted to see if the i30 Tourer really is a fully-suitable and durable family car”.
New Generation Hyundai i30 Tourer Review
The Hyundai i30 Tourer – as well as apparently being child-proof – has numerous other strengths. Most notable is the 528-litre cargo capacity that can be increased to 1,642-litres by folding the rear seats flat. These figures eclipse most cars in its small family class plus many large family cars. This complements the precise steering, supportive ride, and confident handling that make motoring effortless and enjoyable (except when carrying lots of children). The i30 Tourer is also available with a range of petrol and diesel engines that effectively balance performance/fuel economy. All trims are nicely equipped too, and some are available with a reversing camera. Prices range from £16,300 to £24,025 which is good value for money. Now, keep those kids off my car.
