The new Honda Civic will arrive in showrooms this week; this coincides with the new Honda Civic TV advert which has already hit our screens. The TV campaign breaks with a 30 second TV spot which can also be viewed on Honda’s YouTube channel. The advert follows the spark of an idea from conception in the Honda factory which then shoots off into different directions, signalling the development of the car, before finally resulting in the new Honda Civic.
The new Civic features a cleaner and more powerful economical diesel engine. The 2.2 litre i-DTEC engine will emit just 110g/km of co2 emissions which will deliver lower running costs for owners. Extensive wind tunnel testing has been carried out to improve the car’s aerodynamics, reduce drag and refine high speed stability, all of which contribute towards lowering emissions. The new lower Co2 figure will enable customers to benefit from free road tax for the first year and only £20 per year from then on. Company drivers will be able to take advantage of BIK tax rates among the lowest for a small family car.
The 2012 Honda Civic is priced from just £16,495 for the entry-level 1.4-litre 100PS i-VTEC SE. Familiar Honda trim levels of SE, ES, EX and EX GT offer comfort, convenience and technology as standard.
