What on earth is that thing? Can it really be the new Honda CR-V Concept?
What on earth is that thing? Can it really be the new Honda CR-V Concept? Well, ten out of ten for originality – nobody can claim this four-wheel-drive machine looks dreary. For starters, it is far more aggressively styled than the current generation. This is thanks to its bolder fascia, deeper side-panel sculpting, and lowered bumper. It looks ready for a fight, whereas the current model looks ready for a nice cup of tea. I, for one, like the new look. The Honda CR-V is currently sold throughout Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and Africa. It is popular thanks to its rock-solid reliability, pleasant driving characteristics, and sensible running costs. The new version should be even more desirable. Details are sketchy, but expect better fuel consumption and lower emissions. Good thing too, as the price of fuel means efficiency is a major factor for new car buyers. The new Honda CR-V Concept can be seen at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California, in September 2011. It will then be available in the United States towards the end of the year, then marketed in Europe from early 2012. Prices are yet to be announced, but the current version ranges from £21,935 to £33,020. Good stuff.
