New Hyundai i20 on Sale From November
Popular Model Gets Makeover
The new Hyundai i20 – on sale from November – has undergone a stylish makeover to transform it into a longer, more streamlined vehicle.
The new design includes a hexagonal grille that flows into stylish, bi-function headlamps with LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the New Generation i20 features a wrap-around, gloss-finished black C-pillar that gives the impression of a floating roofline. To finish off the new appearance the lamp clusters wrap around the rear wing into the boot lid and feature a distinctive ‘ boomerang ’ LED design.
Inside, there is extensive use of soft-touch materials and chrome detailing plus a raft of new technologies including: front and rear parking assist, heated steering wheel, static bending headlamps, automatic defog system and a lane departure warning system.
The unique-in-class panoramic sunroof, able to both tilt and fully open, enhances the comfort and the sense of space for occupants, filling the cabin with natural light and fresh air.
Other new features include: a dashboard-integrated seven-inch satellite navigation system, automatic folding door mirrors and smartphone docking integration. USB and auxiliary connectivity is fitted as standard and can be specified with an integrated My Music function along with Bluetooth hands free, where up to 1GB of music can be stored and played.
The New Generation i20 is available with a choice of three Hyundai ‘ Kappa ’ petrol and two ‘ U-II ’ diesel power units. A new Kappa 1.0-litre T-GDI downsized and turbocharged petrol engine will further enhance the New Generation i20 engine line-up in 2015. The new engine is the first of a new generation of downsized turbocharged petrol engines, offering enhanced performance, driving pleasure and efficiency.
Every New Generation i20 comes with the company ’ s industry-leading Five Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty, as standard. This industry-best support package also includes five years of roadside assistance and five years of vehicle health checks.
