The new Hyundai Veloster is Hyundai’s replacement for the front wheel drive Coupe
The new Hyundai Veloster is Hyundai’s replacement for the front wheel drive Coupe. The Hyundai Veloster has striking looks and will attract younger motorists as there are traces of the Citroen DS3 at the front and the key talking point is the asymmetric door design; there are two doors on the passenger side, yet only one on the drivers side.
The interior of the new Hyundai Veloster is really quite cool; the honeycomb texture on the upper dash plastics and flashes of piano black trim and matt silver ‘floating’ grab handles led extra visual interest. The Hyundai Velostar features a 1.6 litre engine naturally aspirated capable of 138bhp. The low-power engine means you can get something as distinctive as a Scirocco or Megane RS for less cash and lower running costs.
In Europe the Hyundai Veloster will benefit from Hyundai's industry-leading Five Year Triple Care package that includes a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty, five years' roadside assistance and five years of vehicle health checks.
The Hyundai Velostar will compete with the Volkswagen Scirocco and Renault Megane Coupe and prices will start at approximately £19,000.
