Thank you, praise be, and hallelujah – the Jaguar F-Type is to enter production.
Thank you, praise be, and hallelujah – the Jaguar F-Type is to enter production. This beast will be based on the C-X16 concept that was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011, and will launch as a convertible. A coupé may follow at some point. Furthermore the F-Type's bodywork will be constructed from lightweight aluminium, it will be propelled by a new range of powerful engines, and will focus uncompromisingly on thrilling its occupants.Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director, Jaguar Cars, revealed: “The core appeal of Jaguar's cars is their sporting heart, and that heart will beat stronger than ever before in the F-TYPE. Its development is a vivid representation of the confidence and ambition of the Jaguar brand, and the desire amongst our engineers and design team to produce a world-leader in a market segment that we have been absent from for too long. But no longer – the F-TYPE is coming." The Jaguar F-Type will join an exceptional fleet of vehicles. The XF Saloon, for starters, has won numerous awards – and a more practical estate version is on its way. The high-end XJ is magnificent too and – of course – we have the striking XK Coupé and Convertible. The F-Type will meet its siblings during 2013. What an agonisingly long wait.
