Jaguar’s most powerful and fastest series production sports car the Jaguar XKR-S debuts at the Geneva Motor Show this week. Order books open for the new Jaguar XKR-S in September and prices start at £97,000.
The exterior of the new Jaguar XKR-S is that of a modern sports car design, slimmer than the Jaguar XK with LED headlights the Jaguar XKR-S has a more purposeful front end appearance. The rear of the car displays the famous Jaguar ‘Leaper’ in the centre of the bootlid. The exterior trim is finished in gloss black, complemented by 20-inch Vulcan lightweight forged alloys in a dark technical finish. The Jaguar XKR-S is offered in a range of five paint colours, two of which evoke Jaguar’s competition heritage, Italian Racing Red and French Racing Blue.
The Jaguar XKR-S can reach 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 186mph; it is the only car in its class to emit less than 300g/km of Co2. The revised interior of the Jaguar XKR-S features 16-way adjustable memory sports seats with carbon-fibre effect leather. New trim materials have been used including ebony soft-feel paint for the switches and gloss black finish to the centre console. The model will also be exclusively available with a Dark Linear Aluminium finish as an option to the wood veneers.
