The Discovery is an exceptionally versatile vehicle; it is a first class off roader capable of seating seven passengers
The new revised Land Rover Discovery 4 is on sale now with prices starting from £51,195. Reports say the steering has dramatically improved, at low speeds it has a much weightier feel and produces the sensation that the rim in your hands is connected more directly to the front wheels. At higher speeds the new steering set up is a big part of making the Discovery feel more at home on winding lanes.
The Land Rover Discovery has a V6 diesel motor which is capable of only 32.1mpg, stability and traction controls, Hill Descent Control and a whole bank of off-road programmes are standard, along with full-time four-wheel drive. Boot space is limited when all the seats are in use but the second and third rows fold down to leave a flat floor without the need to remove the headrests.
