New Lexus IS range to launch this summer

Order books are open for the new Lexus IS

Pricing and specification has been revealed for the new Lexus IS range and order books are now open so you can take delivery from the middle of July.

The entry model for the new range is the SE, it is priced from £26,495 for the 2.5-litre IS 250, and £29,495 for the 2.5-litre full hybrid IS 300h. Specification is extremely generous and includes 16” alloy wheels, drive mode select (Normal, Eco & Sport additional EV mode on IS 300h), cruise control, smart entry and start system, dual-zone climate control air conditioning, power-fold heated mirrors, HID headlamps with dusk sensing function, eight airbags, 60/40 split rear seats (IS 250 only), Lexus display audio with DAB and Bluetooth connectivity and a temporary spare wheel (Tyrerepair kit on IS 300h).

Included in the range is the first full hybrid IS the 300h which is priced from £30,995 the additional features on this model include 17” alloy wheels, Lexus park assist, rain sensing wipers and 60/40 split rear seats. Looking for the sporty option then the F Sport is priced from £30,495 for the IS 250, and £33,495 for the IS 300h, included is the 18” ten spoke F Sport alloy wheels, sport suspension with lateral damping system, F Sport mesh grille, LFA-style instrument meters, F Sport aluminium sports pedals and the F Sport leather trim on steering wheel and gear lever.

Eight colour range and extra specification

There are eight colours for this new range that include Velvet Black, Arctic Pearl, Satin Silver, Sonic Titanium, Mercury Grey, Mesa Red, Atlantic Blue and Celestial Black. If you are opting for the sport range then Sport White and Ultra Blue become available as well. Then you are able to make your new Lexus personal to you by adding extra options, if you choose the Luxury or F Sport models then black leather upholstery is offered with prices starting at £1400, the Luxury model has the option of a six way adjustable leather seat with heater function which is most definitely what you would call ‘luxury’. If you want to splash out an extra £2300 then the F Sport can be specified with an eight way adjustable leather seats with heater and ventilation functions in either black or a dark rose leather.

The Premier models feature a 7-inch HDD full map satellite navigation system available as an option on the rest of the range for £1,995 and the Premier models can be equipped with a sunroof for £1,000.
