Brace yourself for the new Mini Paceman concept.
Brace yourself for the new Mini Paceman concept. This striking design, Mini claims, is establishing a new category of vehicle as it is the 'first sports activity coupé in the premium small segment'. Essentially, this means its styling is an appealing concoction of traditional Mini, Mini Countryman, and curvaceous coupe. Well, that sounds pretty good to me.The Mini Paceman has a muscular appearance so it stands out from its more established siblings. Immediately noticeable, in addition to the overall coupe styling, is the Paceman's prominent chrome surrounded headlights. These blend effortlessly into the revised front wings and draw the eye towards the monstrous 19” alloy wheels. Inside the interior is similar to the Countryman estate, but has revised leather upholstery and individual rear sports seats. Should the Mini Paceman concept become a production reality, which looks likely, it will probably be the most expensive variant available. In fact, wannabe owners may have to find between £22,000 - £26,000. For this eye-watering price the Paceman should offer motorists rock-solid reliability, tremendous performance, and thrilling handling. So, fingers crossed the production model inherits the concept's 212bhp engine and four-wheel drive system. The Mini brand is one of the most iconic in motoring, and the current line-up offers fashion conscious consumers a wide range of versatile machinery. The new Mini Paceman would be a tremendous addition to this familiar range, and would further cement its reputation as one of the most desirable brands on the market. Fingers crossed for production in 2012.
