Red or black? You choose with Nissan's Acenta R Note.
Mix up a car name with the letter R and the outcome is usually pretty special. It normally denotes sporting prowess, but in the case of Nissan's new Acenta R Note it simply stands for 'Red'. More specifically, Emotion Red, or, confusingly if red is not for you - pearl black metallic.
Odd. Whatever your exterior paint choice other details for the Acenta R will be the same across all models. That means red detailing to the interior upholstery and door pockets, while outside you'll get Tekna 16-inch alloy wheels and rear privacy glass.
Being a 2008 model the Acenta R also benefits from fully body coloured bumpers, Bluetooth phone connectivity with steering wheel mounted controls, an auxiliary socket for MP3 players and air conditioning. The interior remains as flexible as its non-Acenta R stablemates, the Note coming with family friendly features like a flexi-board storage system, front seat storage nets and fold-away tables. For an additional £500 customers can upgrade with the comfort pack to include an in-dash 6 CD changer, climate control and automatic wiper and headlamps, too.
Engine choices remain the same as the existing Note range - 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engines and a 1.5dCi turbodiesel being available.
for the Acenta R start at £11,840, with cars available to order now and in dealers in time for the new registration plate on September 1.
