Shockingly.... the new Nissan NV400 Chassis Cab is 'not' ready for work. But it is ready to be seen by potential customers at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April 2012. Hard working operators will be able to choose from numerous configurations once this machine is launched. These include: dropside, tipper, single-cab, and double-cab – plus the 125hp and 150hp engines. The NV400 should also benefit from Nissan's legendary build quality. Now, some hard working vehicle operators need more 'specialist' machinery. These load- luggers might fall for the charms of the Nissan NV400's Good To Go range, which will be constructed by a series of UK vehicle converters hand-picked by Nissan. Options will include: box van, Luton, fridge van, combi, and minibus. These will be supplied to the customer complete; eliminating the hassle of buying a van then overseeing its conversion. James Douglas, Nissan Motor GB’s Corporate Sales Director, said: “The CV Show is a great platform to launch our new NV400 chassis cab and remind operators that Nissan has one of the widest LCV ranges on offer in the UK”. He added: “With the NV400 semi forward van based chassis cab and the Cabstar truck chassis cab Nissan has two base vehicles that operators can use to build virtually any size or shape of conversion to match their business requirements. We believe this will help further grow our LCV sales in 2012”.
