New Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo

Skoda has unveiled full specification details and prices for the fab new Citigo Monte Carlo. The new trim level is based on the mid range SE grade and offers additional comfort, convenience and style features. It is available in both three and five door body styles. 

The Monte Carlo model fears black external design elements that include alloy wheels, front and rear spoiler, rear diffuser, grille and door mirrors. The car also has lowered suspension which gives it a more dynamic stance on the road. 

The interior of the Citigo Monte Carlo features a very spacious sporty cabin with a sports steering wheel and Monte Carlo red and black upholstery. Skoda’s innovative PID (Portable Infotainment Device) offering satellite navigation, trip and vehicle information, Bluetooth connectivity and a media player is included as standard. 

The car is powered by the popular three cylinder 1.0 litre engine which is mated to a five speed manual transmission. This engine is outstanding returning 62.8 mpg and with co2 emissions of just 105g/km. 

Citigo is ‘Best City Car’

Since its launch in 2012 the Skoda Citigo has been a success. The car has collected quite a few titles including ‘Auto Express Car of the Year’ and ‘Best City Car’ by What Car?. The latest award is from the Sunday Times Driving editorial team awarding the popular car ‘Top City Car’ to add to the growing list of awards. The Skoda Citigo is extremely affordable priced from only £7990, the Citigo SE 3D 1.0 is available on monthly payments of only £69 with 0% APR offered.  The range consists of four trim levels and is available in three and five door forms and with the option of two very economical engines. Recently the Skoda Citigo Sport was launched, this new version boasts a sporty look with black 15” ‘Auriga’ design alloy wheels, tinted ‘sunset’ windows, a sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 15mm and to finish the look a racing stripe contrasting in colour of the car that runs from the front to the back of the car plus additional stripes at the rear. The Citigo also boasts the largest boot in its class and a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

The latest Monte Carlo version is now on sale the three-door model costs £10,590 while the five-door version is priced £10,940.
