Latest addition to the Greenline fleet
Skoda has revealed the latest addition to its Greenline fleet the new Octavia Hatch Greenline. This new model is priced from £20,150 on the road.
The Octavia hatch is powered by a 1.6 litre TDI CR 110PS diesel engine which brings impressive performance figures returning 88.3 mpg and co2 emissions at just 85g/km. The GreenLine hatchback comes with classic-yet-contemporary looks and a host of ‘Simply Clever’ solutions. It is also packed with eco-technologies, including low rolling resistance tyres fitted to 16-inch ‘Velorum’ alloy wheels, which are unique for the GreenLine model. These are inflated to a higher pressure than normal tyres to reduce friction with the road.
The new car also features the Start-Stop system which is standard across the Octavia range, automatically switching off the engine when the car is paused, for example, at traffic lights. In addition, energy normally lost during braking is recovered and used for battery recharging. The new model benefits from cornering front fog lights as standard. GreenLine badging on the front grille and rear hatchback mark the car out from the crowd, while inside there is a GreenLine logo on the gearstick.
All Skoda Greenline models are very popular with company car drivers and the new Octavia will be no exception. A BiK rating of 13% for 2014 and VED Band A status means running costs will be kept to an absolute minimum.
Last year Skoda enjoyed the most successful year in its history achieving 66,081 new car registrations, they also received more than twenty major awards with both the Skoda Yeti and Skoda Superb taking number one spots in national customer satisfaction surveys.
The manufacturer now boasts an award winning seven car line up comprising the Citigo, Fabia, Octavia, Superb, Yeti and the Roomster.

The range continues with the new Skoda Rapid Spaceback arriving this month in the UK with prices starting from £14,340. It will be available in three trim levels the S, SE and the Elegance and is offered with a range of engines comprising of three petrol and two diesel units. Power outputs range from 86PS to 122PS, with customers being able to choose between manual and advanced DSG automatic transmissions. The Skoda Rapid line-up will also include a GreenLine version with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
