The new Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition will go on sale 1st March priced from £10,899 for the three door model and £11,316 for the five door. The SZ-L is based on the 1.2 litre SZ3 but with added additional equipment and features which enhance the sporty character of the Swift.
Exclusive to the special edition includes 2-tone metallic paintwork as standard; in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colours with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. The interior boasts silver stitching which has been added to the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats which also have a unique fabric design. The original Swift comes equipped with seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning and bluetooth, radio/CD player with USB port, remote central locking and immobiliser, electric front windows, electric and heated door mirrors and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. The special edition SZ-L adds LED daytime running lights plus cruise control.
The Swift SZ-L Special Edition offers low running costs due to the 1.2litre Dual VVT 94 PS engine that returns 56.5mpg and due to the low emissions of just 116g/km the annual road tax for the first year is only £30.
Only five hundred models available
There is a limited production of the car only five hundred are available and you need to be quick if you want to take advantage of the extended VAT free promotion as it is ends on 31st March. Even better Suzuki Financial Services has included it in their popular PCP Driveplan campaign, SZ-L requires a deposit of just £999 followed by forty-two monthly payments of £179 and an optional final balloon payment to keep the car.
For a small car it is worth remembering the Swift is quite spacious inside, it also has a five star Euro NCAP rating and scored ninety-four points for Adult occupancy protection at launch in 2010, the highest of vehicles tested at the time. The special edition will appeal to all generations especially the young as the insurance group is 11E the same as the all the Swift range. For those wanting to purchase the popular Swift but with the extra striking design then pop to your local Suzuki dealership as there are limited numbers and the VAT offer runs out the end of March.
