New Suzuki SX4 S-Cross

The all new Suzuki SX4 S-Cross goes on sale the first day of October. This is Suzuki’s first ‘C’ segment Crossover model and it features the world’s first double sliding panoramic glass sun roof.
The SX4 S-Cross will be available in four grades; the SZ3, SZ4, SZ-T and the SZ5, the exterior is quite striking and very sporty. It is in fact far more than just a crossover vehicle it boasts family-friendliness and safety plus great performance. The interior is extremely spacious for passengers and luggage and the fantastic double sliding panoramic glass sunroof gives the interior a light and airy feel.
Two engines are offered either the 1.6 litre petrol or the 1.6 litre DDiS, both engines boast class leading emissions, the 1.6DDiS emits just 110g/km and returns a fantastic 67.2mpg. The low fuel consumption and low emissions will appeal right across the board to all motorists; it is definitely a model that can offer great driving enjoyment and versatile family usage to many people in a wide range of situations it is also competitively priced from just £14,999 for the SZ3 1.6 petrol with manual transmission. The excellent performance is a result of exceptional combination of attributes; 4WD SUV capability, great handling which is most definitely derived from the Swift, direct straight-running stability thanks to a long wheelbase and low CO2 emissions and fuel consumption which is great for the global environment.
The panoramic sunroof is a world first; it consists of two sliding glass panels, one in front of the other. The sunroof extends over the front and rear seats, making the cabin more relaxing for all occupants giving a fresh and airy feel. When the sunroof is closed, the glass panels have a combined length of 1,000mm and when the sunroof is open the aperture has a length of 560mm which is one of the largest in this segment. Passengers can enjoy a great open feeling when the sunroof is open.
The new SUV also features ALLGRIP, Suzuki’s new generation 4WD. Created by evolving the company’s renowned 4WD technologies it provides driving enjoyment and peace of mind in diverse conditions while promoting economy and limiting the strain which 4WD cars place on the environment. The four-mode 4WD system in the new SX4 embodies ALLGRIP technology.
