The new Toyota Verso-S is now on sale and the clever design and packaging provides excellent interior space within the shortest exterior dimensions of any current mini MPV. This careful attention to detail has ensured maximised usable space, comfort and perceived quality. The 60:40 rear seats have a centre arm rest and the seats can also be folded down from the boot. When the rear seats are folded flat the boots space available jumps from 430 litres to 1388 litres. The front seats have thinner internal frames which mean more knee-room for those in the back, and even the rear door trims are thinner towards their bottom edge, to give more “foot-room” when getting in and out of the car.
The Toyota Verso-S is available with the Toyota Optimal Drive 1.33 Dual VVT-i petrol engine. Co2 emissions are approximately 127g/km with a combined fuel economy of 51.4mpg. The Toyota Verso-S is the first in the mini MPV segment to be equipped with a new 6.1 inch full colour touch screen Multimedia Interface that gives clear and easy access to controls for the radio, CD/MP3 player and Bluetooth. Around the cabin there are 19 separate storage points, including door pockets, bottle and cupholders, a tray beneath the front passenger seat and a three-level dashboard compartment.
