New Vauxhall ADAM on the roads next month
New Funky three door hatchback priced from £11,255
Vauxhall's new city car will be on the roads next month, similar in size to the Fiat 500 but considerably wider and not much shorter than the Mini the Vauxhall ADAM will appeal to everyone from the new young female and male driver and to the older generation. Vauxhall have many best selling models including the Corsa, Astra, Meriva, Zafira and the Insignia, the Vauxhall ADAM is a new market to them and it looks like this city car will also be a success.
Three trims are offered; the JAM which projects fashionable and colourful, GLAM which is sophisticated and elegant and SLAM if you want racy and sporty. You can reflect your personality even further as the ADAM can be customised in over a million different ways; there is unlimited visual combinations, a wide variety of exterior colours and interior colours plus two different roof colours. Customers can even choose their headlining, including an LED-lit starlight roof trim. An online configurator has been designed to help you make the best possible choices down to styling add-ons, accessories and interior finishes.
ADAM’s Biggest Technology Highlight
The ADAM also boasts a technology highlight named ‘IntelliLink’ which is a infotainment system that connects to the owners smartphone, content from the smartphone is then transferred onto the car’s seven-inch, high resolution, full colour touch-screen display. The system, which is the first of its kind compatible with both Apple iOS and Andriod applications, enables personal playlists, photo galleries, phone books, other stored media and data to be accessed easily via the touch-screen in the car. Videos and personalised slide shows can also be viewed on the screen when ADAM is stationary; this new technology makes the ADAM be the best connected car on the market. Thanks to the smartphone link owners will also be able to access internet-based approved apps via the IntelliLink touch screen. Apps such as Stitcher, the global podcast internet radio that lets users listen to programs live or after they have been broadcast, and BringGo a navigation app which offers maps for Western and Eastern Europe, will be available from launch with further apps coming later.
A choice of three engines are offered but no diesel as yet, all engines are ecoFLEX available with optional start/stop technology and teamed to a five speed manual gearbox. The ADAM is in showrooms now and order books are open so book your test drive today.
