The new Hyundai i30 range will arrive in showrooms in March, the new range will include the i30 Turbo which is priced from £22,495. The new Turbo is very quick off the mark capable of 0-60mph in just eight seconds and boasting plenty of sporty features that include 18” alloy wheels, Turbo sports bodykit, Turbo badge and sports suspension.
The rest of the i30 range has undergone numerous engine and design updates which will most certainly add greater appeal. The range starts with the i30S which replaces the ‘Classic’ model. Standard specification includes keyless entry, USB and AUX connections, Bluetooth® connectivity with steering wheel remote control, and air conditioning. If you opt for the SE there are additional features offered such as 16” alloy wheels (subject to variant), auto cruise control with speed limiter, drivers electric lumbar support, rear parking sensors, leather steering wheel and gear knob. The top of the range i30 Premium will benefit from; HID headlights with auto leveling and AFLS, 17” alloy wheels, leather seat facings, dual zone climate control, heated seats, heated steering wheel and smart key with engine stop/start button.
Hyundai offer a choice of five engines across the range, there is a choice of two diesel or one of the petrol engines. The 1.6 litre diesel can be mated with Hyundai’s new seven speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT). The new 7DCT delivers greater efficiency and if you opt for the 1.6 litre CRDi Blue Drive the co2 figures are at a new all time low of just 109g/km. The i30 range also benefits from Integated Stop & Go which further reduces fuel consumption.
Other design enhancements include two new colours; Polar White and Jet Black, order books open in the next few days and the new range will be in the showrooms from March.
