If you want to take delivery of the new Nissan Juke Nismo in March then now is the time to order. This high-performance version of its small crossover will no doubt be in demand when you look at how successful the original Nissan Juke has been, plus the price tag is very competitive starting from £19,995.
This new Nissan is offered in three colours; Blade Silver, Pearl Black and Storm White, the three colours all match with the signature red door mirrors and matching lower red pinstripe which are featured on this model. The interior is just fabulous with special suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats with red stitching and deep side bolsters along with Alcantara and leather trim for the steering wheel and suede trim for the door liners. There are red Nismo signatures carried through to the dashboard gauges, gear knob and gaiter which give it the unique touch and other features include a black centre console, a black headliner and black door switch surrounds which give the interior a nice finish.
The new Juke Nismo is powered by a 1.6 four cylinder petrol engine it is extremely sporty as the front wheel drive and six speed manual form hits a top speed of 134mph and accelerates from 0-62mph in just 7.8 seconds. The Nismo specialists have enhanced more than just the looks of this sporty crossover, it has been designed to offer accessible performance and complementing the new 1.6 cylinder engine is an uprated chassis that will really help owners make the most of the power available. As well as ten percent stiffer springs, the suspension settings have been changed to enhance traction while the steering is more direct. When the original Nissan Juke was launched back in 2010 three thousand orders poured in Simon Thomas, Nissan’s European Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing said “we know that there are a lot of customers that are looking for a car which combines striking design, agile handling and driving pleasure, user friendly technology but not at the expense of practicality and convenience. These unique attributes will allow the Nissan Juke to occupy a unique corner of the European market.”
This new Nissan Juke Nismo is the first in a range of powerful Nismo-branded models that are due to be launched over the next few years, with the previous success of the Juke there is no doubt the Nismo range will be just as successful.
