City Car lovers take note. The Peugeot 107 1.0 Urban Lite 3dr is now available from only £6,995 on the road. This, according to the motoring manufacturer, represents a £1,700 customer saving. For this rock-bottom price motorists benefit from the: CD stereo with MP3 input, power steering, anti-lock brakes, cornering stability control, twin air-bags, and the immobiliser. This pint-sized run-around also averages 62.7mpg so it is cheap to run.The Peugeot 107 1.0 Urban Lite may be a very cheap car, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The positive steering, light controls, and excellent visibility make it easy to drive – and there is a fair amount of traction too. Best stick to town work though, as this cheap- as-chips plaything can be noisy at motorway speeds. That said, in city car terms and for the price, the 107 Urban Lite ticks the boxes. It is easy to live with no-nonsense transport. Now, this is a bit strange. The Peugeot 107 looks remarkably similar to the Citroen C1. In fact, they could be twins. Perhaps this is because they are built in the same factory and owned by the same parent company (PSA Peugeot Citroen). These urban workhorses even share the same engine. The secret is out then, these machines are the same car in different clothing. Oh, guess what! The Toyota Aygo is essentially the same vehicle too.
