Just Add Fuel explained plus a brief overview the vehicles available and their cores strengths.
How Just Add Fuel works
Peugeot Just Add Fuel is a simple, flexible, convenient finance plan which enables you to make fixed monthly payments that cover every motoring cost except petrol/diesel. Hence the term "just add fuel". The manufacture has a range of example offers, but also allows you to personalise the terms to best meet your requirements.
The starting point is to pick a car, the size of your deposit – which can be up to 40% of the sale price - and a mileage limit of (say) 10,000 per-annum. Peugeot then calculates a monthly payment that covers the: car, insurance for up to 3 people, excise duty (road tax), a warranty, servicing and European roadside assistance.
Consider too whether you require a purchase or lease plan. The former enables you to purchase the vehicle outright at the end of the 3 year contract. The cost of this "optional final payment" is defined at the onset based on predicted value which is influenced by market trends, etc. There is no obligation to purchase, however.
Both purchase and lease plans incorporate other, end of term, options such as to return the vehicle and walk away. In this scenario, there is nothing further to pay assuming it is in reasonable condition for its age and within the agreed mileage limitation. Alternatively, trade it in and start a new finance plan.
Cars available via Just Add Fuel
Peugeot Just Add Fuel finance incorporates a wide range of vehicles. The 108 is a city class model available with 3 or 5 doors, for example. Strengths include the compact proportions that make manoeuvring in busy cities easy plus the low running costs that come via 1.0-litre, 68hp, and 1.0-litre, 82hp, petrol engines.
The Peugeot 308 SW is a small, family class, estate. Strengths include the extremely large cargo capacity which is 660-litres rising to 1,775-litres with the rear seats folded flat into the cabin. The SW also has modern styling, confident handling and a pleasing equipment specification - particularly in high-spec forms.
The 208 GTi 3-Door is available too. This supermini class vehicle's core strength is its 208hp petrol engine that propels it to 62mph in 6.5 seconds. This power plant – which is teamed with 6-speed manual transmission – also produces 300Nm of torque at 3,000rpm which is considerable. Sharp handling further enhances the package.
Peugeot Just Add Fuel finance is also available via the: 308 Hatchback (small family class), All-New 2008 (compact sports-utility class), 3008 (crossover) and the 208 5-Door (supermini).
