Peugeot RCZ Sports Coupe wins award

The Peugeot RCZ Sports Coupe has been voted 'Design of the Year'

The Peugeot RCZ Sports Coupe has been voted 'Design of the Year' in the 2010 Fleet World honours held at the Royal Automobile Club in London. Editor of Fleet World Steve Moody said: "Peugeot's gorgeous new RCZ signals a new, exciting and stylish era for the firm. The double-bubble roofline, aluminium roof arches and feline look at the front end suggest a new confidence at the French marque." The double bubble glass roof gives the Peugeot RC-Z its own identity. The interior of the Peugeot RC-Z is equally impressive with hand stitched leather on the dashboard and a piano black finish to the centre console. The look is completed with comfortable leather bucket seats.

The Peugeot RC-Z coupe has a choice of three engines, two versions of the turbocharged 1.6 litre THP petrol unit producing 156bhp and 200bhp and a 163bhp two litre HDi turbo diesel. Six speed transmission is available on all three, the 156bhp 1.6THP also has the option of a six speed automatic. The Peugeot RC-Z petrol version is capable of 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds and fuel economy is acceptable at 43.4mpg and co2 emissions are a reasonable 159g/km. The diesel is even more impressive returning 47.7mpg and lower emissions of 139g/km.

I agree it's without a doubt a French version of Audi's TT, better off buying a classic Morgan which won't lose it's value so quickly either.

tt owners be quiet,as your car is just a poor mans porsche

What a rip off!!! Being a TT owner it is a blatant rip off of the Audi TT - I dont know how they have managed to get this into production - if you want a proper sports car go for the Audi not a cheap rip off!

It's not a merc!
